Divine Fish House
For a truly divine seafood dining experience, check out Divine Fish House on the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk.
Located on the waterfront of famed Murrells Inlet, the Seafood Capital of South Carolina, Divine Fish House features an extensive menu and an elegant setting for a romantic dinner or a fun night out with friends.
Their motto "Dining for all your senses" becomes evident once you walk inside the door. Tall glass windows over an excellent view of the fishing boats returning from a day at sea with fresh catches destined for the Divine Fish House kitchen. The aroma of fresh ingredients simmering and sauteing waft from the kitchen to your nose.
The sound of soft music over the gentle waves and wake of the inlet, the touch of class in the candle-lit dining room surrounded by glass and, finally, the taste of some of the best seafood on the Grand Strand. Of all the wonderful sensations you will experience at Divine Fish House, none beats the flavors coming to your taste buds.
Offering excellent sushi and seafood appetizers, Divine Fish House puts an upscale twist everything under the sea. Old standards like crab cakes and seared tuna are jazzed up with a sweet pepper jam and pineapple wasabi, while non-traditional choices such as the crab mango tuna stack and Oysters Divine are unique and mouth-watering.
The She-Crab Soup and Spinach Blackberry Salad all lead up to a main course that takes seafood to a new level.
The famous Inlet Platters give guest the choice between fried shrimp, oysters, flounder and more, and the fresh catch of the day is served a variety of ways - grilled, baked, blackened and topped with one of many tasty sauces.
But it's hard to beat the Surf and Turf, and Divine Fish House does it up right with cold-water lobster tail and prime steaks and chops. Wash it all down with a fine wine, or enjoy an after-dinner cocktail on the patio deck and bar, where live music, a wonderful sunset and an excellent view serve as compliments to a great dinner.
Divine Fish House is located at 3993 Highway 17 Business in Murrells Inlet. For more information, call 843-651-5800 or visit the website at www.divinefishhouse.com.

Enjoy the Island Life at Margaritaville
Famed singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett crooned about a mythical paradise called Margaritaville, but that little slice of island life is mythical no more.
Margaritaville is both real, located at Myrtle Beach's popular Broadway at the Beach complex, and real fun, highlighting the laid-back beach lifestyle that inspired many of Buffett's books and songs. Featuring the flavors and spirits of the Gulf Coast and Caribbean, a meal at Margaritaville is like the best hurricane party ever.
A large outdoor patio deck in the heart of Hero's Harbour overlooks Lake Broadway and features an outdoor stage with live music and performances held regularly in the evenings. Featuring a docked boat and a lighthouse, Margaritaville serves as Myrtle Beach's version of Mallory Square in Key West, the perfect place to watch sunset.
The party carries over indoors, too, with a huge bar area and island-themed dining area providing a festive place to dine. An oversized blender creates a hurricane warning and Buffett's vast musical collection, along with other bands of similar styles, play over the sound system while patrons sing along to their favorite tunes.
But visitors tend to get quiet when once their food arrives at their table. Unique appetizers, such as the Crab, Shrimp and Mushroom Dip, the Lava Lava Shrimp and Conch Fritters, along with more traditional favorites, like the Volcano Nachos, Quesadillas and Chicken Wings (try the Jamaican Mistaica sauce), are perfect for starters.
Margaritaville offers a creative line of salads (the Lobster, Crab and Shrimp Salad with Jalapeno-Mango Ranch Dressing), sandwiches (the Cuban Pork Sandwich), soups (Corn and Crab Chowder) and, of course, Cheeseburgers in Paradise. But be sure to save room for the main course, a collection of tasty entrees from both surf and turf.
You don't have to be a Parrothead to enjoy the fun, food and frozen drinks at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, but many find themselves converts after one taste of the Margaritaville experience.
Maragaritaville is located at 1114 Celebrity Circle at Broadway at the Beach. For more information, call 843-448-5455 or visit the website at http://www.margaritavillemyrtlebeach.com
