Halloween Events Near *Holiday Inn “At the Pavilion”

October is upon us and that means cooler temps and diminished crowds – both of which mark the beginning of fall event season. Aside from a slew of exciting and palette pleasing fall festivals, October also offers plenty of spooky Halloween events. From the terrifying to the gruesome, you can expect to see just about everything this Halloween.

Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Fright Nights

Looking for a spooky surprise? Head just outside of our resort to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk to see the Fright Night action right before your eyes! This weekend event will take place each weekend throughout the month of October and will be pretty hard to miss. The entire boardwalk area will be overtaken by real-life zombies like a scene from an apocalyptic movie! Guests can enjoy live entertainment, photo ops with the zombies, and discounts at local Halloween attractions and thrill rides. Just head to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk during the month to see what all the buzz is about!

Ripley’s Haunted Laser Strike

Look no further than Ripley’s Haunted Adventure Laser Strike, conveniently located just up the road in downtown Myrtle Beach. Monsters lurk nearby, and it’s up to you to use your skills to save yourself! Using a laser gun and your best aim, you must defeat the flesh-eating monsters before it’s too late. This attraction is only $14.95 for adults and $11.99 for children and reduced ticket price are available through packages with other local Ripley’s attractions. Ripley’s Spook-Quarium Sleepover

If you’re searching for something unique for the entire family, reserve your spot for Ripley’s Spook-Quarium Sleepover at Ripley’s Aquarium on Saturday, October 28. Just a short drive from Holiday Inn at the Pavilion, guests are invited to venture down a haunted aquarium walk and go on a scavenger hunt throughout the aquarium. Nightmare Haunted House

This downtown attraction combines all of your worst nightmares… under one roof. Appropriate for seasoned haunted house goers and scare enthusiasts, this haunted house is no laughing matter. Make your way through a dark and winding maze of twists and turns as you encounter several creepy residents. And by an encounter, we mean run for your life! Pigboy, Buddyman, and Giggles are just a few of the not-so-friendly faces you can look forward to seeing, in addition to several terrifying scenes and spooky actors popping out from every corner. This attraction is open from 2 pm till late Thursdays thru Mondays throughout the month of October and admission is only $12.99 for adults and$9.99 for children 12 and under. Broadway at The Beach

kids dressed in halloween costumesBroadway at the Beach is THE place to be during Halloween! Located just a short drive from *Holiday Inn “At the Pavilion”, Broadway is hosting fun events for families and couples during the month. Check out a few of their top Halloween events:

  • Truck-or-Treat (Saturday, October 14): Get your trick-or-treating started early with Truck-or-Treat at Broadway at the Beach! From 10 am to 2 pm, all kinds of large trucks will be on hand to pass out candy to kids in costume, including trash trucks, emergency vehicles, and all kinds of giant big rigs. There will also be inflatables, a petting zoo, rides, a costume contest, and much more! A horn-free hour will be implemented between 10 am and 11 am.
  • Halloween Bash on The Avenue (Saturday, October 28th): If you are looking to enjoy a lively night out on the town you definitely won’t want to miss out on the Halloween Bash on The Avenue! Just head to The Avenue (formerly Celebrity Square) in your best costume to receive free admission to all clubs, partake in awesome Halloween deals, and enter the Adult Costume Contest. The best costume of the night will score someone $2,000!
  • Halloween Fireworks & Trick or Treat (Monday, October 31st): Broadway at the Beach is a top spot for trick or treating for both visitors and locals alike! Bring your little ghosts and goblins out between 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm for a night they surely won’t forget. Broadway will have local vendors set up with trick or treating booths and plenty of entertainment to keep you busy. There will also be a lively fireworks finale that you won’t want to miss!
