Holiday Inn at the Pavilion: At the Center of the Action

Getting to your Myrtle Beach vacation can take a lot of work. Saving money, making plans and shopping for bathing suits … let’s be real. It’s a little stressful. That’s why your actual vacation should be as low-stress as possible! You’re here to recharge. One great way to do that is to stay at a hotel that’s in the center of it all so you don’t have to bother with driving, parking and traffic stress.

Holiday Inn at the Pavilion is in a perfect location if you want to avoid driving. We’re right on the Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk and Promenade, one of the best attractions at the beach. It’s nearly 1.5 miles of strolling, shopping, ocean views and entertainment, and it’s right outside your back door.

Just a block away, or less than a 5 minute stroll along the boardwalk, is Plyler Park, one of the centers of family fun and activity in Myrtle Beach all summer long. When you’re here, ask about any festivals or special events that may be going on at the boardwalk or at the park, and then come back at night for Hot Summer Nights, which liven up the boardwalk every evening all summer long with family-friendly fun and entertainment including Monday night kids’ carnival nights, a roving Elvis impersonator and live music.

Another great thing about the boardwalk at night is the view: the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel, an 187-foot tall gondola-style Ferris wheel, is lit up with millions of lights at night.

In the same area, easily accessible by foot from Holiday Inn at the Pavilion, is the 14th Avenue Pier, a historic pier first built in 1926. Check out the gift shop, tackle shop and restaurant or try to pull in the catch of the day yourself or just watch action.

Of course, you may not even need to travel that far to have a great time: Holiday Inn at the Pavilion offers a ton of fun right on resort grounds. You can swim in five different indoor and outdoor pools, have a drink and a bite at the Tropical Paradise Beach bar or float our lazy river.

There’s so much to do when you’re staying at Holiday Inn at the Pavilion, you won’t need to get back in the car!
