Hot Fun In The Summertime In Myrtle Beach
Greetings from Myrtle Beach and The Holiday Inn “At The Pavilion”!
The countdown to summer is over and with that comes great fun with family and friends in Myrtle Beach, which was just voted the 2010 Trip Advisor Travelers’ Choice #1 Beach Vacation Destination in the United States!
Once again this year the Oceanfront Merchants’ Association is sponsoring the “Hot Summer Nights Series”, which includes free music, entertainment and fireworks. Already in full effect, Hot Summer Nights has its fun centered in Plyler Park, which is adjacent to the Holiday Inn “At The Pavilion” and the new Myrtle Beach Boardwalk.
Lasting for 10 weeks, events include:
• Mondays, 7-10 p.m.: Free Kids’ Carnival
• Tuesdays and Saturdays, 8 p.m.: Midnight: Free concerts in Plyler Park
• Wednesdays, 9:30 p.m.: Fireworks over the ocean
• Thursday, 8 p.m.: Strolling Bagpipes
• Fridays, 8 p.m.: Strolling Dixieland Band
• Sundays, 7-10 p.m.: Street performers
