Myrtle Waves Waterpark

Find relief from the heat and the summertime blues at Myrtle Waves Water Park, a 20-acre aquatic playground that offers fun for the whole family.

Located near Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Waves features more than 30 rides, water slides and other ways to get wet, Myrtle Waves pumps more than 1 million gallons of water through the facility each day, giving guest plenty of thrills and chills to beat the heat and have a good time in the sun and the surf.

Ride the rolling swells in the Wave Pool, relax in the slow-flowing LayZee River or catch a ride on the heart-fluttering waterslides, which include Turbo Twisters, Snake Mountain, Arooba Tooba, Night Flight, Super Chute, the Thunderbolt and the Riptide Rockets, two linear flumes that drop 350 feet over the 1,300-foot track. All slides have varying height and weight requirements.

For the younger kids, visit Bubble Bay, a 7,000-square foot kiddie pool and playground, and Saturation Station, a giant Caribbean-themed Jungle Jim that features two four-story towers with connecting bridges, water slides and 700-gallon volcano that allow the little ones to run and play while being doused by spraying water at virtually every turn.

For a break from the sun and the fun, Myrtle Waves also offers picnic areas and private cabanas where visitors can refuel and relax away from the action. The Island Cafe, Sharkie's Snack Shack and Pizza And More serve all the family favorite, from pizza and hot dogs for the kids to salads and wraps for the grown-ups. The Filling Station features fill-your-own soft drinks at several locations around the park.
