Myrtle Waves Water Park

Find relief from the heat this summer at South Carolina’s largest water park, Myrtle Waves. This 20-acre aquatic playground is the perfect way to make sure you’re getting the maximum amount of family fun during your trip to Myrtle Beach.

Located just minutes from the coast at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Waves water park has all-day entertainment for every member of the family. Pumping more than 1 million gallons of water a day, guests are sure to get plenty of thrills and chills to beat the heat while basking in the sun. Ride the rolling swells in the Wave Pool, relax along the more than 1,200-foot long Layzee River, or slip and slide down one of the parks heart-fluttering waterslides including: Turbo Twisters, Snake Mountain, Arooba Tooba, Night Flight, Super Chute, the Thunderbolt and the Riptide Rockets, two linear flumes that drop 350 feet over the 1,300-foot track. All slides have varying height and weight requirements.

For some fun for the little ones visit Bubble Bay, a 7,000-square foot kiddie pool and playground with water depths ranging from 6 to 18 inches. Watch as they run under the three cascading water umbrellas, climb on secured, faux logs, and alligators. Or head on over to the Saturation Station for even more splashes, slides and waterfalls for the squirts. This Caribbean-themed island is an interactive water playground with a number of mini-scale slides and chutes for kids, two four-story towers with connecting bridges, and a 700-gallon volcano that allow the little ones to run and play while being doused by water at virtually every turn.

For a break from the sun, Myrtle Waves also offers picnic areas and private cabanas where visitors can refuel and relax away from the action. The Island Cafe, Sharkie's Snack Shack and Pizza And More serve all the family favorite, from pizza and hot dogs for the kids to salads and wraps for the grown-ups.
