ART Burger · Sushi · Bar

Known by locals simply as ‘ART Burger,’ this delicious destination will wow the whole family. As the name suggests, ART’s menu features burgers and sushi plus numerous fried creations. Try the mouth-watering Firecracker Shrimp, the classic ART Burger, or the local’s Beach Sushi Roll. 

Part of what makes ART Burger so unique is the display of local art around the restaurant. Local artists are invited to sell and display their art at no charge to the artist. ART Burger is open daily from noon to 9pm.  

SOHO & Rooftop 21

No Spring Break in Myrtle Beach is complete without a trip to SOHO, a sophisticated restaurant serving Asian-inspired cuisine. Menu items include seafood, sushi, steaks, and pasta. 

One of the fun features of SOHO is their rooftop bar and lounge with unique seating and full food service. Enjoy a delicious cocktail creation with a made-to-order sushi roll around one of their modern firepits. SOHO is located on 21st Ave N between Ocean Blvd and Kings Hwy and is open for lunch and dinner. 

Johnny D’s Waffles

Known for more than just their waffles, Johnny D’s is open daily from 7am – 2pm serving an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. The closest location to Holiday Inn at the Pavilion is on Hwy 17 Bus at 33rd Ave N, but Johnny D’s has two other area locations found in North Myrtle Beach and Surfside Beach. 

Johnny D’s offers an Early Bird menu until 8:30am featuring a selection of breakfast items for $5 with a beverage included. Their regular breakfast menu includes omelettes, waffles, benedicts, and so much more. Their lunch menu features items such as sandwiches, burgers, and numerous french fry creations. Johnny D’s also serves an extensive cocktail menu at breakfast and lunch.

Dave & Buster’s is located within Broadway at the Beach across from Broadway Louie’s and opens daily at noon. All ages are welcome, but kids under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Fun Warehouse

Another awesome family-friendly game zone is Fun Warehouse, but Fun Warehouse is more than just an arcade. You can join a virtual reality game, speed around the roller rink, jump through inflatables, win prizes in the arcade, and shoot your way to victory at laser tag. 

Pricing at Fun Warehouse is per activity or packages may be purchased. Their cafe serves American classics and sodas plus alcoholic beverages. Discounts are available for large groups. Broadway Grand Prix

Carolina Comedy Club 

One of the top comedy venues in the area is the Carolina Comedy Club located in Broadway at the Beach. Live performances run Thursday – Saturday with a new comedian each weekend. Crocodile Rocks

Crocodile Rocks is the area’s only dueling piano bar. Guests control the show by requesting songs which one of the two players will perform. Every night is a new line-up so you will never see the same show twice.

Valentine’s Dinner at The Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bistro

The Brentwood Restaurant is known for its low country French cuisine and for being one of the “Top 10 Romantic Restaurants” (according to After a short 30-minute drive North, couples can enjoy a four-course “Prix Fixe” dinner on Saturday the 13th or Sunday the 14th. Splash of Love at Ripley’s Aquarium

Dine with the fishes at Ripley’s Aquarium this Valentine’s Day. Splash of Love is an annual event where couples have the chance to enjoy a romantic dinner in the setting of their choice. The event is on February 14th, 5pm – 8pm. Here are the three packages available for 2021: 

  • Sea of Love ($120 +tax per couple) – a four-course dinner for two, one drink ticket per person, one long-stemmed rose, and a souvenir photo

Wine & Design Date Night

Couples can sip on the beverage of their choice while co-painting a work of art this Valentine’s Day at Wine & Design located in The Market Common. For $65, couples will be provided two pre-traced canvas, paint, brushes, and aprons. You will each paint half of a cute couple-themed scene that will be hung together creating a lovely work of art. 

Wine & Design is BYOB (wine, beer, and snacks), but provides plastic cups, corkscrews, and bottle openers. Couples are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early to pour their drinks and get set up. Wine & Design has other Valentine’s-themed painting scheduled throughout the month of February if you aren’t able to make it on the 14th. Reservations are required

The Melting Pot Valentine’s Day Dinner

Throughout Valentine’s Day weekend, couples can enjoy a decadent dipping dinner at The Melting Pot. This specialty menu is $74.99 per person for a 5-course dinner which includes a starter course, a cheese course, salads, entrees, and chocolate fondue dessert. 

On the 13th and 14th, a specialty 3-course lunch is available for $49.99 per person. This menu includes a cheese course, entrees, and chocolate fondue dessert.
