Art in Common Festival | September 11-12th

The Seacoast Artists Guild & Gallery will host the 18th Annual Art in Common Festival this year in Valor Park at The Market Common. Categories of art will include paintings, photography, fibers, digital and more. The event will take place each day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Seacoast Artists Gallery is located on Nevers Street across from Valor Park.

Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival | September 24-26th

Looking for a fun, family event during September? Check out the Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival, an annual event that is a favorite among visitors and locals alike. Artists from across the nation flock to this huge gathering to showcase their finest work, which ranges from paintings and sculptures to woodwork and handmade jewelry – and everything in between. The event will also offer live entertainment throughout the weekend, games and crafts for the kiddos and several food and drink vendors. Art in the Park | October 9-10th & November 13-14th

The 49th Annual Art in the Park is taking place over two weekends this fall, October 9th-10th, and November 13th -14th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. The event features artful creations from more than 40 local artists at Myrtle Beach’s Valor Park. Artists include jewelry makers, woodworkers, glass blowers, photographers, painters and more! Boofest! | October 30th

Dress up your kids and get ready for some spooky Halloween fun! BooFest! is happening at Barefoot Landing on October 30th from noon to 4:00 p.m. Registration for kids and pets costume contests begins at 11:00 a.m. with the contest starting at noon. After grabbing a bite to eat, return for a family movie at the Dockside Village Amphitheater at 7:00 p.m.! You won’t want to miss this Halloween extravaganza.

The Nightmare Before Christmas | October 30th

Grab your kids, blankets and lawn chairs and head to Valor Park for a Halloween movie the whole family is sure to enjoy. The Market Common hosts this FREE movie event from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. Vendors will be on-site selling snacks. Please remember, no alcohol is permitted at the event.

Hometown Halloween | October 31st

Return to The Market Common on Halloween for even more haunted fun. Spooky carriage rides will be available from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Kids are invited to Trick-or-Treat throughout the shops from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. -just look for those marked with an orange balloon! Don’t forget to stop by Cinema 14 for a Monster Mash dance party where Halloween movies and music will be played throughout the event. This is a FREE event for the whole family to enjoy.

Halloween on the MarshWalk | October 31st

One of the best annual costume contests in the area, Halloween on the MarshWalk is slated to return for Halloween 2021. The event kicks off with a Kid’s Costume Contest and Trick-or-Treating along the MarshWalk. Prizes, trophies and ribbons are awarded to the Most Creative, Best Group, Funniest and Scariest costumes. The competition heats up when the Adult Costume Contest begins with more than $4000 in cash and prizes. Categories include People’s Choice, Best Duo/Group, Best Individual, Big & Bulky, Murrells Inlet Themed and Honorable Mention. Halloween Bash on the Avenue | TBA

For any adults looking to get into the Halloween spirit, this one’s for you! Halloween Bash on the Avenue is happening at Broadway At The Beach this Halloween season. Enjoy live music throughout the evening at clubs and restaurants along The Avenue, PLUS an adult costume contest with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Festivities begin at 7:00 p.m., and Hard Rock Cafe will host an after party starting at 10:00 p.m. Check the Events Calendar for more details.

Irish Italian Festival | September 25th

Ireland meets Italy? Yes, all of your culinary dreams are about to come true at the 17th Annual Irish Italian International Festival! This FREE event is a favorite among locals and is definitely worth the short 15-mile trek north. The fun kicks off at 10:00 a.m. and runs through 4:00 in the afternoon. Visitors can enjoy everything from live entertainment and a spaghetti-eating competition to local craft vendors, kids’ activities and plenty of great food – of course! Head to Main Street in North Myrtle Beach on Saturday the 25th to see what all the buzz is about.

Taste of The Market Common | October 2nd

The 4th Annual Taste of The Market Common and Sidewalk Sale is back for 2021. Taste an array of appetizers, entrees and desserts from your favorite restaurants around the Common. Food tickets are $1 each (samplings cost 1-6 tickets) and may be purchased in front of Cinema 14 or at King Street Grille. The event will also include a fall sidewalk sale, kids’ activities, live music and more. Myrtle Beach Greek Festival | October 14-16th

If Greek grub is more your style, you’re in luck. The annual Myrtle Beach Greek Festival returns this October and is an absolute must for families. This three-day event takes place at St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church (off 29th Avenue North) and offers plenty of food for everyone. Get your fill of favorites like spanakopita, souvlaki, and baklava This year’s festival will be a “drive-thru” event to ensure the safety of all participants. View the full menu online

Annual Taste of the Town | November 2nd

Taste of the Town gives guests the opportunity to try delicious foods from many local restaurants that line the Grand Strand. This popular event will take place at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center on November 2nd from 4:00-10:00 p.m. Food tickets, which are $1 each, are used to sample foods from the various restaurants that attend. Hospitality Golf Classic | September 10th

The 29th Annual Hospitality Golf Classic will be held on September 10th at Myrtle Beach National golf course. In addition to prizes for first, second and third place in the tournament, the event will include a silent auction and other prize drawings. Proceeds from the event will benefit Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association educational programs. The cost is $495 per foursome and includes a team golf cart, required greens fees, lunch from Damon’s Grill and other food and refreshments during the tournament. Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest | October 8-9th

The Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest is the area’s biggest and best celebration of its kind and you won’t want to miss out! This family-friendly gathering lasts all weekend long and features plenty of food and entertainment for everyone. Activities include a kids’ area filled with face painting, hayrides and a petting zoo, over 60 vendors, live entertainment and a wide selection of brier. Dust off those lederhosen and head to Grande Park at The Market Common to take part in the fun. The event runs from 4:00-9:00 p.m. on Friday and from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Brew at the Zoo | November 6th

Enjoy a cold one with friends at the Brew at the Zoo fundraising event hosted by Brookgreen Gardens! More than 30 regional and national craft beers will be on-hand for guests to sample and enjoy while raising money for the new Red Wolf Habitat in Brookgreen’s Lowcountry Zoo. The Paul Grimshaw Band will be performing during the event, and three food vendors will be on-site. The event is from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., and tickets for this adult-only festival cost $50. Mythical and Medieval Fest | November 13-14th

The Mythical & Medieval Fest is a Renaissance-themed festival filled with medieval combat, princesses, a fairy forest, fire show, an artisan’s village and more. Throughout the event enjoy games, food, fun, and costumes. This event raises money each year for a local non-profit, Caleb’s Dragonfly Dreams, that provides positive activities to abused, abandoned and neglected children. The 8th Annual Mythical and Medieval Fest will take place November 13th-14th at RH Acres off of Socastee Boulevard. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for kids ages 4-11. SC Bluegrass Festival | November 25-27th

The 51st annual South Carolina State Bluegrass Festival is back, and we’re honored to be the city of choice for this year’s awesome event. The lineup for this year’s event includes top Bluegrass performers like Doyle Lawson, Larry Stephenson, Larry Sparks, The Malpass Brothers and many more. Musical performances will begin at noon each day. Tickets for the 3-day event start at $98 for adults and $58 for kids ages 7-15. The Myrtle Beach Convention Center will host the event.
