For over 20 years, Myrtle Beach Thrill Rides have been making both visitors and locals flip, spin, twist, and drop through the ocean air. Test your limits as you are propelled more than 300 feet up at 100mph! You can’t miss the brightly lit rainbow slingshot that sits right across the street from *Holiday Inn “At the Pavilion”. You’ve probably heard of Myrtle Beach’s largest, oldest, and most unique gift shop, The Gay Dolphin, but did you know that the Gay Dolphin also has its own arcade? Walk on down to enjoy a clean and family friendly place to play games and have fun for hours! Battle it out on the air hockey tables or try to beat the high score in skee-ball. The Gay Dolphin Arcade is open Sunday-Friday from 10am-10pm and Saturday from 10am to 11pm.
Come face to face with your good-lookin’ self as you attempt to find your way out of this exciting mirror maze as you challenge your perception and sense of direction! This Ripley’s experience is filled with awesome LED lights and infinity mirrors, that is sure to provide you family-fun for all ages. Hang on tight! This 5d theater is on a whole different level from your typical movie theater. Be prepared for your senses to run wild as you experience all the turns, bumps, and drops with the motion simulator that coincides with what you’re watching on the screen. You won’t feel like you’re at the movies, you’ll feel like you’re in the movie! Ripley’s 5d Theater is open Sunday-Thursday from 10am-9pm and Friday-Saturday from 10am-10pm. Its probably no surprise that The SkyWheel is listed as our top Boardwalk Attraction, but this Myrtle Beach icon (that also happens to be our next door neighbor) is definitely worthy of our #1 spot! The climate-controlled gondolas tower 200 feet over the Atlantic Ocean and give you a view of miles of the Myrtle Beach coast, and you can enjoy the beautiful boardwalk and ocean views with your family no matter the season or weather. Want a special experience? The VIP flight offers Ferrari leather seats, glare-free glass, and a glass bottom floor.
