WHAT SHOPS ARE ON THE BOARDWALK IN MYRTLE BEACH?

WHERE IS THE MYRTLE BEACH BOARDWALK LOCATED?

The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is located just off of Ocean Boulevard between 14th Avenue Pier and Second Avenue Pier in Myrtle Beach, SC.

WHEN WAS THE MYRTLE BEACH BOARDWALK BUILT?

Construction of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk was completed in May 2010.

IS THE MYRTLE BEACH BOARDWALK PET FRIENDLY

Dogs are allowed on the boardwalk with a leash 7 feet or shorter at any time after Labor Day and before April 30. From May 1 to Labor Day, dogs are only allowed on the boardwalk from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.

ARE BICYCLES ALLOWED ON THE MYRTLE BEACH BOARDWALK?

Bicycles are allowed on the boardwalk anytime between Labor Day and April 30. From May 1 to Labor Day, bicycles are only allowed on the boardwalk from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.

ARE SKATEBOARDS, ROLLER SKATES, AND ROLLER BLADES ALLOWED ON THE MYRTLE BEACH BOARDWALK?

Skateboards, roller skates, and roller blades are prohibited.

IS THERE PARKING NEAR THE MYRTLE BEACH BOARDWALK?

Yes. There are several streets with parking meters and various parking lots within walking distance of the boardwalk available for public parking.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING NEAR THE MYRTLE BEACH BOARDWALK?
  • Parking meters are in effect from May 1 to October 31 and are monitored from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m.
  • Parking meters are located between 31st Avenue N. and 29th Avenue S.

There are also several pay-to-park lots near the boardwalk, including:

  • Boardwalk Parking, located behind Mammy’s Kitchen on 10th Avenue N.
  • Parking next to the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel
  • Several other lots off of Withers Drive and Withers Alley

The Pavilion Parking Garage, located between 9th and 10th Avenues N., is also within walking distance to the boardwalk.
