Myrtle Beach in January

12/11/2020
Vacationing to Myrtle Beach in January might seem a bit silly. You can’t swim in the ocean, and you can’t wear your favorite flip-flops. But even though the temperatures have cooled down doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of hot and exciting things to do all over town. From discounted golf rates to crowd-less beaches, here’s your inside scoop on what to do in Myrtle Beach in January!

Grab a jacket and head to the beach!

During January, Myrtle Beach has an average high of 55 degrees and an average low of 34 degrees. Maybe it’s because there aren’t many vacationers or maybe it’s because of all the winter storms, but the beaches always seem to have buckets of shells and other great finds during January. With more than 60-miles of beach to explore, there’s no telling what incredible beach treasures you will go home with.
*Holiday Inn “At the Pavilion” is located at the North End of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, right next to the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel. With over 80 businesses up and down the Boardwalk, including restaurants and specialty shops, there is endless fun to be had on the Beach.

*Not affiliated with the national chain.
