Places to Catch Live Music

12/27/2013
Myrtle Beach has many things to offer and live music is one of the best ones. Enjoy a night of listening to local bands or relax on the beach where you can hear the sounds of the ocean and music. There are plenty of places where you can listen to some live music.
Boathouse Waterway Bar & Grill
With backyard concerts in the Summer Concert Series to live country at Friday Night Lights, there is no shortage on live music at Boathouse. Enjoy live country with no cover year round on Friday nights. When the weather warms, head outside on Sundays to their backyard stage with the Summer Concert Series. Boathouse’s convenient waterway location allows guests to enjoy live music from the yard or the boat. Boathouse is open for all ages to come and enjoy.
Ocean Annie’s
Sit back and enjoy a drink while listening to live cover bands that play a wide variety of music from all genres ranging from the Top 40 to classic throwbacks.  Located on Shore Drive, enjoy the music while sitting poolside on the deck or relaxing on the beach with one of their many drink specials.
House of Blues
With a wide variety of bands coming to the area, enjoy a live concert at the House of Blues. Located at Barefoot Landing and bands ranging from classic tributes to rock to country, there is a concert for everyone here. Check out their site for a complete list of events happening during your vacation.
Crocodile Rocks
For a night of drinks and dueling pianos check out Crocodile Rocks located at Celebrity Square at Broadway at the Beach. Beginning at 8pm Tuesday-Saturday, listen to a variety of music, from classic rock to today’s hits, as the two pianists duel it out. There is a $10 cover charge on weekends and $5 on weekdays, and you must be 21 or older to enter.
The Hot Fish Club
Located in Murrels Inlet, come for dinner and then head to the gazebo and stay for a night of drinks and live music. Relax as the cover bands play everything from rock and roll to the island rhythms of Calypso to enter the Hot Fish gazebo you must be 21 or older, but there is no cover charge.

Another Murrels Inlet favorite, Bubba’s Love Shak is always a great time. Located on the Marsh Walk, sit outside at one of the picnic tables or inside as you enjoy their live music from a variety of local bands. There is never a cover charge at Bubba’s Love Shak and you don’t have to be 21 to enter.
