Visit The Murrells Inlet MarshWalk

11/04/2013
Visitors and locals alike flock to the MarshWalk during the year – and for good reasons! Located in the seafood capital of the state, Murrells Inlet, the MarshWalk is an inlet front group of restaurants and a marina that are all connected via a waterfront boardwalk. Great for grabbing a bite to eat or spending a day out on the water, the MarshWalk has everything you need for a day full of fun.
The Crazy Sister Marina is the place to go if you are looking for wet n wild fun. The marina rents everything from kayaks and paddleboards to boats and jet skis, so you can find something for everyone in your group, no matter what your budget is. You can also enjoy a relaxing dolphin tour or a casual cruise around the inlet in the Bahama Mama Boat. Those looking for a thrill can check out the Scuba Express boat or catch a ride on a banana boat. Children love the Pirate Adventure ship and adults often enjoy the challenge of offshore fishing on the Inlet Princess. There is so much to do here – you might need to make a few trips to squeeze everything in!
The restaurant selection is another huge draw of this area. Being that Murrells Inlet is the seafood capitol of the state, you can expect a variety of succulent seafood offerings at these restaurants, most of which is caught in or near the inlet. In addition, Bovine’s offers unique wood fired pizzas that are wildly popular and Creek Rats is the place to go for golden fried seafood baskets. Wahoos and Wicked Tuna are the places to go if you are looking for fresh sushi while Dave’s Dockside is the place to go when you are looking for a killer Sunday brunch. Whatever your palette is craving can be found along the eclectic restaurant selection along the MarshWalk.
Another great part about the MarshWalk is the variety of live entertainment that can be found throughout the week. Many of the restaurants have outdoor bar areas with stages where they host well known local and regional bands. You can expect to hear anything from classic rock to country or current hits depending on who is playing. And, the inlet front boardwalk that connects all of the restaurants makes it easy to stroll from place to place without having to worry about finishing your drink or leaving the MarshWalk.
The Murrells Inlet MarshWalk is a truly unique area that offers memorable cuisine, tons of ocean entertainment, and spectacular inlet views. Whether you are looking for wet ‘n wild fun or a great meal (or both!) – the MarshWalk offers something that just can’t be found in Myrtle Beach. Be sure that a trip to this small town venue is on your Myrtle Beach vacation itinerary!
