What’s Open On The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

07/10/2020
Vacationing is back in full swing as travel bans are lifted and businesses begin to open up around Myrtle Beach. We are bringing you a list of what’s open on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk (just steps outside of the *Holiday Inn “At the Pavilion”) and the extra precautions businesses are taking to keep your family safe while on vacation.

SkyWheel

The larger-than-life wheel is a tourist favorite and is ready and open to receive visitors this summer! To keep riders safe, the SkyWheel staff is disinfecting every gondola after each ride, loading parties into separate gondolas one group at a time, and marking waiting-lines with safe social distancing signs. You can enjoy the 360-degree view of the Grand Strand from your glass gondola from over 200-feet in the air!

Myrtle Beach Zipline Adventures

Get your thrills at Myrtle Beach Zipline Adventures where you can zip across Ocean Boulevard or complete their Adventure Matrix ropes and obstacle course. Myrtle Beach Zipline Adventures sanitize all their equipment and are open from 12-10 pm daily.

Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, Mirror Maze, and Moving Theaters

Ripley’s attractions on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk are now open and have created new procedures and guidelines to help maintain the health and safety of guests and staff. At this time Ripley’s attractions have reduced capacity to encourage safe social distancing, limited the guest to staff contact, and create sanitization schedules to clean kiosks, interactive exhibits, restrooms, and surfaces. They are also requiring mask to be worn throughout their attractions and gloves must be worn in the Ripley’s Mirror Maze and Ripley’s Moving Theaters.

Pier 14 Restuarant & Lounge

Not only a great fishing spot but also one of the best restaurants on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, Pier 14 is open for dining this summer. Come in and grab delicious bites like their Crab Cake Sandwich, Beer Batter Fish & Chips, or a Fire Grilled Steak! Outdoor dining is available at Pier 14.

The Bowery

Enjoy a cold beer, great eats, and live music this summer at the Bowery, a local favorite and historic gem. The Bowery has all the same great food, drinks, and rockin’ music for you when you visit for your Myrtle Beach vacation. They are requiring you to wear masks in compliance with the City of Myrtle Beach.

Landshark Bar & Grill

One of the most laidback restaurants you’ll find on the Grand Strand is Landshark Bar & Grill, located right beside the SkyWheel. Landshark is also asking that guests wear face-covering while not eating in an effort to stay healthy and comply with the city requirements. Other extra precautions Landshark is doing to make sure its guest are safe includes sanitizing all surfaces frequently, training staff on proper sanitation, having hand sanitizer available in the lobby and restrooms, and having staff perform wellness checks before coming into work. If you’d still like to dine but don’t want to dine-in, delivery and curbside pick-up are available!
